Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for the operations of the 1171 facility, including support/production of Demers Type II products and all brands of remount/service work.

*Ensure safe work practices and good housekeeping is promoted.

*Provide input for policies and procedures related to operations and general business.

*Utilizing Braun Performance Excellence System (BPES) to meet objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery.

Operations Management

*Manage the operations concurrent with business growth, introduction of new products, cost objectives and various product mix.

*Development and execution of strategic planning.

*Participate in the implementation of advanced manufacturing technology to improve production cost and promote on-time delivery.

*Develop management talent within operational areas to achieve performance targets.

*Achieve operational objectives through planning, implementing, evaluating, and forecasting.

*Maintain operations within budget.

*Create and effective operations team through written and verbal communication.

Technical Skills/Competencies (technical knowledge, education, and experience)

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business-related field.

Ten years prior manufacturing / senior management experience.

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve problems

Professionalism in dealing with both internal colleagues and external contacts

Successfully pass a post offer drug test, as well as random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug and alcohol test thereafter

Regularly required to walk, talk, and hear, reach with hands and arms, stand, crouch, and kneel; frequently required to use hand to finger dexterity in order to handle objects, tools, and/or controls; occasionally required to stoop or crawl.  Ability to meet travel requirements.  Ability to interface with computers and electronic communication devices at acceptable productivity and quality levels.
