Braun Ambulances “On the Road” – February 2016 Events

February is a packed month for us, with several tradeshows being attended by our dealerships and our sales managers directly. We’ll have representatives at Firehouse World, the Alabama Association of Fire Chiefs Mid-Winter Conference, Long Island Fire & EMS Mega Show, South Carolina Emergency Care Symposium, and EMS Today: The JEMS Conference & Exposition. It all starts off on February 2^nd and keeps us on the road until the end of the month!

Firehouse World is our first big event in February. Focused on the fire service, the conference begins on January 31^st. However, the over 250 exhibits are on display in the San Diego Convention Center starting February 2^nd. Braun Industries will be located in Booth #1443. Hours are Tuesday, February 2^nd from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm and Wednesday, February 3^rd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Chad Brown, Braun Industries Vice President of Sales & Marketing, will be in attendance, along with Braun Industries Regional Sales Manager, Eric Wilcox. Working with representatives from our local dealership, Hi-Tech Emergency Vehicles, we will have two customer units on display – one from the City of Orange and another from Rural/Metro San Diego.

The two customer units we will have on display are both wonderful examples of our customization options and have some innovative features worth seeing,” says Chad Brown.

At the same time Firehouse World is going on, Braun Industries’ Regional Sales Manager, Jarret Hammons, will be at the Alabama Association of Fire Chiefs Mid-Winter Conference. The conference is February 2-5, 2016. It’s being held at the Bryant Conference Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Later in the month, we’ll be joining Nassau Fire Apparatus at the Long Island Fire & EMS Mega Show. With over 1,000 exhibitors, the event will be held at Brentwood Sports Field House in Brentwood, New York. Eric Wilcox will be attending from Braun direct. Exhibits will be open February 20^th and 21^st from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.

On February 24^th, Jarret Hammons will be heading south to join our newest dealer, Spartan Fire & Emergency Apparatus, at the South Carolina Emergency Care Symposium. The event will take place February 24-27, 2016 at the Kingston Plantation Oceanfront Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The exhibit hall opens on Thursday at 5:00 pm with a wine and cheese reception. Friday hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Finishing out February is EMS Today: The JEMS Conference & Exposition. Chad Brown and Eric Wilcox will be attending from Braun Industries direct. We will be located in Booth #2402, inside the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Exhibit hall hours are Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We will have two units on display. First, a 2015 Braun Liberty Type I from McVeytown EMS featuring a Whelen lighting package, EZ 02 Lift, extended CPR seat, dual vista displays, and custom interior and exterior compartmentation. We are also hoping to show off a 2015 Braun Express Plus Type I from Pocono Mountain Regional, which would be fresh out of production. Built on a 2016 Ford F450 4×4 chassis, this unit includes a Whelen lighting package, dedicated narcotic storage cabinet, portable 02 bottle storage, and customized monitor storage location.
