Braun Ambulances at FDIC 2017 & on Facebook LIVE

It’s finally here! FDIC 2017 is underway and we are so excited to get there later this week to set up our booth (#3546). The Exhibit Hall opens on Thursday and we’ll have six new ambulance units on display throughout it. The complete list of hall hours are as follows:

• Thursday, April 27 – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• Friday, April 28 – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Saturday, April 29 – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

This will be our 38^th year participating in FDIC. A lot has changed since our first year in 1979! In the past, we had a smaller booth space and only brought along two demo units. The event also used to be held in Cincinnati, Ohio. FDIC gets bigger every year and as it has grown, so have we. This year, we are excited to be celebrating our 45^th anniversary while FDIC celebrates its 90^th!

As a quick recap, we will have six customer units on display. This includes three units in Booth #3546 – a Type I Super Chieffrom Palm Beach Gardens, a Chief XL Type I from North Collier, and a Liberty Type I from Orange Township. There will also be a Type I Liberty from Telluride in Ford Commercial Vehicles Booth #4238, a Type III Chief XL from Westerville in General Motors Fleet Booth #4839, and a Type I Super Chief from Nashville in Freightliner Trucks Booth #4820.

Along with all the new ambulance units, we’re debuting a selfie station in partnership with USSC Valor Seating. Plan to stop by and snap a picture with your crew and “Rescue Randy.” Remember to share it on social media with the hashtag #braunselfiecrash. We’ll also be giving away Braun t-shirts.

For those unable to attend FDIC in person, we will be streaming from the show each day on Facebook LIVE. This is a great opportunity to get a look inside our booth and units, as well as ask questions in real-time. We have created a schedule of streams for those interested in tuning in. Here is what we will be talking about each day:

  • 10:45 am – Westerville unit tour in GM booth
  • 2:00 pm – FDIC wrap up and Thank You
