Our Website Has Been Redesigned!

It’s here! We have launched our new website on BraunAmbulances.com and we’re very excited to share it with you.

Over the last 50 years, Braun has been delivering high quality, custom handcrafted ambulances. During that time, a key to our success has been establishing long term customer relationships. Leveraging our new online presence as a communication tool, we’re hoping to expand on our existing relationships and establish new ones. To do this, we’ve setup our online voice to reach far beyond our website. We can now keep in touch with you through our blog, Facebook page, Twitter account, YouTube channel, LinkedIn profile, email blasts and more. We’ve also enhanced the website itself to include some great new features that we hope you will check out.

Enhanced, Up-To-Date Showroom with Recent Deliveries & Demo Units – We will be posting information on all of our most recently delivered emergency vehicles as well as all demo units we have in-house ready for delivery.

Ambulance Safety Seating and Design Webinar

Last month, Braun Industries had the pleasure of teaming up with Serenity Safety Products to deliver a webinar for EMSWorld. The webcast, titled “Ambulance Safety Seating and Design”, was given by Chad Brown of Braun Industries and Kevin Gallagher of Serenity Safety Products. Compliments of EMSWorld, the event is now available for online viewing at your convenience. You can view the webinar here.

The webinar focuses on the evolution of ambulance seating and safety with regard to design, ergonomics, and convenience. It is purely an educational webinar intended to help organizations make an informed buying decision on their next emergency vehicle or safety seating purchase. This webinar includes some interesting facts about ambulance seating and safety of the past and how we can address these issues in the future. These points include things such as:

According to CDC, over 79% of ambulance crashes are from the front.
The inside of an ambulance is often a dangerous environment. There are sharp edges, corners and protruding objects in the module. Equipment is often in use or stored on shelves and may become projectiles in a crash.
Due to the layout of an ambulance module, seating is often in unusual positions with restraints often as a lap belt only. This forces attendants to become unrestrained as they move about the ambulance module to perform their work.

More importantly, this webinar focuses on new technology in ambulance seating to meet the concerns above and provide for a safer working environment for your patient and EMS crew. It highlights new interior ambulance design layouts enhanced for safety. Additionally, Chad and Kevin educate attendees on how to design and specify a safer ambulance interior for future emergency vehicle builds.

September is an exciting month for Braun Industries and its network of ambulance dealers. Braun ambulances will be in attendance at EMSWorld Expo, the North Carolina Association of Rescue and EMS 2011 State Convention, and the New Mexico Fire Service Conference. If you’re attending any of these events, we’d love to see you! Check out the details below to learn where you can find us and tour a custom handcrafted Braun ambulance in person.

EMSWorld Expo is the largest EMS event in North America. This year, the Expo will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 29th thru September 2nd and we are pumped to be there too! Representatives from Braun Industries will be on hand August 31st thru September 2nd. Exhibit times are as follows: 8/31 – 11:30 am – 6:00 pm, 9/1 – 11:00 am – 4:30 pm, 9/2 – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Braun Industries will be located at booth 1919. Stop by to meet company representatives and see inside several Braun ambulance models. This is a great chance for you to meet team members who work at the corporate headquarters for Braun Industries.

First Class Fire Apparatus, a Braun ambulance dealer for North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, will be attending the North Carolina Association of Rescue and EMS 2011 State Convention September 15th thru September 17th. The event will be held at the Showplace Convention Center in High Point, North Carolina. Exhibit times are as follows: 9/15 – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, 9/16 – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, 9/17 – 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. First Class Fire Apparatus will have a display booth at the convention; please make sure to stop by to meet their ambulance sales team and learn more about working with Braun to custom design your new emergency vehicle.

The New Mexico Fire Service Conference will be held at the Ruidoso Convention Center in Ruidoso, New Mexico September 27th thru September 29th. LTG Fire and Emergency will be there representing Braun ambulances in the exhibitor hall. Exhibit times are: 9/27 – 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, 9/28 – 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, 9/29 – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Representing Braun Industries in New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, the LTG Fire and Emergency team will be happy to answer any questions you have about owning a Braun ambulance or discuss anything else you’d like!
