We’re super excited to be in New Orleans, Louisiana for the EMS World Expo 2016. The Expo is being hosted in conjunction with NAEMT at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The Exhibit Hall opened today at 11:00 am and will be open until 6:00 pm. Hours are also tomorrow, October 6th from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday, October 7th from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. We have representatives from Braun direct, as well as our dealer network, in Booth #515. There, we’re displaying three new ambulances, along with previously unreleased crash test footage available first to Expo attendees.
“EMS World Expo is a great show that we look forward to every year,” says Braun Industries’ Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Chad Brown. “This year, we are particularly excited about debuting new crash test footage from side impact and rollover tests we conducted in June. EMS World Expo attendees will be the first to see the new crash test videos and have an opportunity to talk with our team about how the data collected translates into real world ambulance safety and design.”
EMS World Expo is billed as the largest EMS event in North America. Hosted in partnership with NAEMT, the event is an EMS conference and trade show that brings together over 5,100 EMS professionals. The event will include 140-plus educational sessions led by top EMS industry experts, and an Exhibit Hall featuring state-of-the-art technology, products, and services from over 350 exhibitors. We will be one such exhibitor, displaying three ambulance models in Booth #515. Our EZ 02 Lift™ oxygen cylinder lift and storage compartment solution is also a finalist for a Top Innovation Award. The product will be judged and evaluated during the expo, and winners will be announced at the end.
We will have three new ambulances on display in Booth #515 – a Type III Demo Express, a Type I Demo Express Plus, and a Type I Chief XL Ram. The Braun Demo Express Type III is built on a Ford E-350 chassis. It features the EZ 02 Lift™ system in the exterior curbside storage compartment. It also has a Braun exclusive EZ Glide™ Door, LED angled and dome lights, Whelen lights, and an aluminum solid body the manufacturer is known for. The Express Plus is a Type I demo unit from Braun dealer, Penn Care, Inc. Built on a Ford F-450 chassis, the vehicle features 72” of headroom and Liquid Springs suspension for a comfortable ride. LED angled lights curbside, restocking hinges and an inventory control system provide enhanced working conditions in the compartment. It also has fuel splash guards, an EZ Glide Door™, and an all-aluminum solid body with no wood. The last emergency vehicle inside Booth #515 will be a Chief XL I Ram 4500 4×4 from Christian County. The ambulance has a V4 seat belt harness, EVS seat on mobile one, Mermaid MediKool refrigerator, locking drug box, Buell air horns, and a dual LED license plate holder.
Representatives from Braun direct, as well as our nationwide network of new ambulance dealers, will be in attendance. Visitors are encouraged to stop by to tour the units on display and view the previously unreleased crash test footage. EMS World Expo attendees will get the first look before the videos and crash test data are released to the general public in late October.
