Van Wert, Ohio - February 1, 2008 - Braun Industries, Inc., manufacturer of Braun Handcrafted Ambulances, marked its 36th anniversary February 27th at its Van Wert, Ohio headquarters. Phil Braun, President and CEO and Charma Braun, Executive Vice President, celebrated the event with 200 staff members and Van Wert community leaders.
Building hand-crafted ambulances in Ohio since 1972, Braun Industries is recognized as an innovative leader in ambulance design and construction. From initial design to final assembly, all work is kept in house to control quality, utilizing state of the art technology such as 3D design modeling software and computer controlled machining equipment. Braun's management team includes Kim Elick, Vice President/General Manager and Scott Braun, Vice President/Quality Operations Manager, both Braun third generation executives of the 115,000 sq. ft. operation that was constructed in 2000 on thirteen acres in Van Wert's North Industrial Park.
