Braun Ambulances Debuts New Spartan Chassis at FDIC

Van Wert, Ohio - February 22nd, 2008 - Phil Braun, President and CEO of Braun Industries, Inc. announced today the introduction of the Spartan Furion chassis which will officially debut at the Fire Department Instructor's Conference (FDIC) April 7-12 in Indianapolis. "The Spartan Furion chassis is designed to bridge the gap in the market between custom and commercial vehicles" Braun said, "and offers superior visibility, roominess and modernized styling."

Unlike its commercial counterparts, which might wind up as a delivery or moving truck, the Spartan Furion is a purpose-built cab and chassis specifically designed for the emergency- rescue industry. The cab over engine design allows for greater visibility and maneuverability and features plenty of room for six crew members and equipment. The Furion features an advanced multiplex electrical system and utilizes an under the dash heating and air conditioning system.

The official unveiling of the Braun Ambulance Spartan Furion chassis will be by invitation from 6-8 PM at the Braun exhibition booth, #1832, Wednesday April 9th.
